When you need strain from a steel strut, sheet pile, pipeline or exposed concrete face, mount the gauge directly to the structure and let the change in wire frequency reveal the load path.

One sensing element, two ways to mount it
The SG-W arc-weldable gauge is built for structural steel. The SG-S version uses groutable anchors for concrete, rock or timber surfaces.
The same vibrating-wire principle gives you a durable strain signal for construction, service-life monitoring and load testing, with an integral thermistor for temperature correction.

For SG-W, weld or bolt the end blocks to the cleaned steel surface at the correct gauge spacing. For SG-S, drill for the groutable anchors, set them and mount the gauge across them before logging a baseline.

Strain-gauge clusters typically suit BEAM-VW-S8. A single check gauge can run on BEAM-VW-S1.
