Rebar Strain Gauge
Measure the load the reinforcement is actually carrying
BEAM-SG-R (300 MPa / 400 MPa)
In a pile, diaphragm wall or anchor, it is the steel that carries the load. The BEAM-SG-R becomes part of the reinforcement itself, reading the strain the steel sees.

Weld it in, or tie it alongside
The BEAM-SG-R monitors stress changes in rebar or anchor rods inside concrete. The ends can be welded into the bar being measured or configured as a sisterbar alongside the reinforcement.
Install paired gauges around the neutral axis when you need to separate bending from axial load. The integral thermistor supports temperature correction.
Built for the places where change matters.
Use the sensor where you need a stable, long-term view of the parameter at risk.

Make the gauge part of the reinforcement.
For an in-line gauge, weld or thread the bar ends into the reinforcement. For a sisterbar, tie it next to the main bar within the cage. Protect the cable as the cage is placed and concreted, then log a baseline.
Designed for the long read.
- Accurate, long-term stability
- Robust and reliable
- 12–40 mm bar sizes
- Manual or remote reading
- Compression or tension range
- Integral thermistor

The instrument is only the beginning.
Connect the sensor to an Ackcio BEAM-VW node and carry the measurement through Mesh to the monitoring view.
Paired gauges and clusters along a pile or wall suit BEAM-VW-S8. A single instrumented location can use BEAM-VW-S1.
See your data on Snape
Readings arrive in the Snape dashboard as live time-series data in Micro-strain (με) / load. Check network health, node status and threshold conditions from the same view.

Specify the detail that matters.
BEAM-SG-RXX-300 / -400 uses XX for rebar diameter and 300 / 400 for steel grade. Specify welded, threaded or sisterbar configuration.
