Employee Spotlight: Pheng, Customer Success Manager
This month’s spotlight is all about an essential member of our Ackcio team – Pheng Hwee Chng, Customer Success Manager. We sat down with Pheng to learn a little bit more about his role within Ackcio and how he enjoys spending his free time. Pheng joined Ackcio in October 2020.
Can you introduce yourself and your role at Ackcio?
Hi, my name is Pheng Hwee (I usually go by just Pheng). I’m the Customer Success Manager at Ackcio. My main job is to create and maintain long-lasting and healthy relationships with our customers to ensure they are satisfied with the services we provide.
What are 3 words to describe Ackcio?
Young, hungry and evolutionary.
What do you like the best about working for Ackcio?
I really appreciate the closeness of the team and the positive work environment that comes with it.
What is your proudest moment at Ackcio?
There was a time when a client sent an appreciative email along with a large order for our devices after I helped him solve a difficult problem. Moments like this really feel like you’re contributing to the team.
What have you gained from working at Ackcio?
Though my experience working for Ackcio has been less than a year, I’ve definitely learned a lot about Industrial IoT systems and geotechnical monitoring from my colleagues.
What advice would you give to new entrants?
I would advise them to learn how to think on their feet and how to prioritize tasks well.
Last but not least, tell us something about yourself that would surprise us.
I am not sure it’s much of a surprise, but I’m really keen on board games and am waiting for the right time to bring some to the office.
